Here at George’s Hockey Repair we love the game as much as you do—and we’ve been proving it for decades!
George’s shop team won the charity tournament for the “Shine a Light” foundation. The Shine a Light Foundation was founded by Paul Martin (on the left in the photo), a former NHL player from Elk River, MN.
Dan George, George’s Hockey Repair owner, is the goalie on the left.
Our shop team won the St. Paul Adult Hockey League (SPAHL) 3 of the last 5 years. This highly-competitive league includes a lot of former professional hockey players across the 8-team league. Dan George, George’s Hockey Repair owner, is the goalie pictured here next to Woody’s Cup.
A small collection of past credentials issued to George’s Hockey Repair for sideline repairs. These are from different Division 1 college hockey tournaments, Frozen 4, and National Championships. We are often invited for tourney repairs and these passes get us full access to locker rooms, etc. We’ve worked at the Xcel Energy Center (home of the Wild) and the Target Center (home of the Timberwolves), among others.
In the winter, Dan George maintains a rink and hockey obstacle course on his pond by auguring a hole and pumping the pond water out to flood the rink—one of the perks of living in Minnesota!

Dan George’s daughters, Bella and Lucia, playing in between periods at the U of M Women’s Hockey game.

Hamline University goaltender John Sellie-Hanson stopped by George’s to show Dan his MIAC Championship ring. George’s helped maintain/repair/modify John’s gear and kept his skates sharp during his time at Hamline!
Although we’re seasoned professionals with decades of top-notch work for hockey bigwigs, we’re not too big to be popular with the under-12 crowd, too!
